I think the X2hrs and the HD 560s are more neutral than DT 990 pro and maybe have a slightly wider sound stage. DT990 PRO feels like a more sturdy build quality, has less distortion at low volumes than X2hrs. It also feels less bulky than both in the head. It's closer to a neutral bright headphone than V-shaped. I found that it addresses a lot of the weaknesses of the DT990s while improving on its strength like the great imaging and perceived detail. The 1990s are more sensitive than the 990 PROs too, so they don't need as much power even though they're both 250 ohms. To be honest, I'd recommend the TYGR 300R or the dt880 instead. The dt990 and the dt770 have a very peculiar sound signature that you may or may not like (the dt990 especially, insanely harsh treble).
